(Makes 3 to 4 servings)

No need to go to a
bar to enjoy the sweet, tangy sensations of a daiquiri.
This frozen strawberry version is a dandy.
8 ice cubes
1 cup 250 mL pineapple juice
4 tablespoons 60 mL lime juice
4 tablespoons 60 mL
confectioner’s/fruit sugar
2 cups 500 mL frozen
strawberries
Crush the ice in a
blender.
Add the pineapple
juice, lime juice, sugar, and strawberries.
Process the mixture
until the strawberries are blended and the drink has a
slushy, frozen consistency.

(Makes 3 servings)
Remember the pleasures of a
creamsicle on a hot summer day? The texture, the
flavour and the aroma of this drink will make you feel
like a kid again. It’s really easy to make, too.
2 cups 500 mL vanilla ice cream
2 cups 500 mL orange juice
whipped cream (optional)
maraschino cherries (optional)
Combine the vanilla
ice cream and orange juice in a blender. Blend until
the mixture is smooth.
Serve in tall
glasses. Garnish with whipped cream and maraschino
cherries.
